Our Mission.

I will make our mission easy to understand. I have worked in the construction industry for the last 30 years. I have worked as a concrete worker, a finish carpenter, a roofer, a rough carpenter, a cabinet maker and a site foreman. I have also worked for myself as a contractor doing renovation work as well as new construction. I have always wished that the places that I worked at were more user friendly as far as having efficient workspaces. Most job sites are far from organized. There is never enough space to work or  securely store tools in a dry environment. There is never enough work space or workbench space or even saw horses....especially saw horses.

Real Job Conditions.

We all try our best when we set up at the job, though. If we don't have saw horses, we make some. If we need a work bench, we can set up some saw horses and some plywood and that works just fine for the day. We dig the table saw and the chop saw out of the back of the truck and look for some more saw horses to set these tools on...why don't we ever have enough saw horses....oh, we can make some more, right?

The Ultimate Job Site Tool Box.

One day about 12 years ago I was working on a job and I was so frustrated with the way our tools were getting ruined from the rain. Every time we would get our tools all set up, it would  start to rain or snow. So we would cover up our table saw and chop saw and wait for the rain/snow to stop. Then a thought came to me.... What if I could devise a way that we could keep our tools not only dry, but also usable at the same time? Many of the other construction companies were buying these really cool trailers to store all of their stuff in. I noticed that most of these trailers became big, unorganized closets that held all of their stuff. After all, the floor of the trailer could only hold so much stuff. Then tools and equipment were just getting piled on top of the stuff that was already on the floor. This didn't seem to be the answer either. It seemed to take literally hours to set up then tear down our set up every day.... day-in and day-out... I wished it could be like my workshop at home. I have things all set up there. How can I have that kind of efficiency here on the job?

The Concept of the Portable Workshop.

While this innovative workshop system is not for everyone, anyone who enjoys working with their hands and their woodworking tools in the sunshine and fresh air will realize what benefits The Portable Workshop can offer,  even to the week-end craftsman. If the exterior walls and floor of your garage and/or basement are  the storage places for your growing collection of woodworking tools, you might consider investing in the Portable Workshop simply as a way of organizing your tools. You might even find that doing a few projects around the house is a lot more fun and relaxing, the way woodworking should be. Far too many woodworkers who set up temporary work spaces in basements or garages find that it takes so long to find all the tools, blades, bits, wrenches, hand tools, extension cords, saws, planes, drills and attachments, that by the time you're all set up and ready to go, the week-end is almost over with. The Portable Workshop on he other hand, is set up and ready to use in about 42 seconds. ....Imagine! ..... You might even discover a long lost garage bay that you could actually park your car or truck in. What would it mean to you to have this power at your disposal?
